Day 1 – Negombo
Met at the airport by our representative and transfer to hotel in Negombo for overnight stay.
Day 2 – Vilpaththu – Anuradhapura
After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura. On the way to Anuradhaura visit fish market at Chilaw. Thereafter jeep safari at Vilpaththu national park. Dinner and over night at Anuradhapura.
Day 3
– Anuradhapura – Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya
After breakfast visit Sri Maha Bodhi Temple, Ruwanweli Saya Thuparamaya, Moon Stone and Guard Stone, Isurumuniya Temple etc. Thereafter visit Polonnaruwa the second Ancient Capital of Sri Lanka. Visit Royal Pavilion, Thuparamaya, Watadagaya (circular stupa), Uththararamaya (Galvehare) where the reclining Buddha statue, Lankathilanka – the oldest buddhist temple etc. Afternoon visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress (during the 5th century A D). Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Sigiriya or Giritale.
Day 4 – Dambulla – Kandy
After breakfast proceed to Dambulla Rock Cave Temples, Herbal Spice Garden, Kandy Tooth Relic Temple and view the Cultural Dance Show. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.
Day 5 – Pinnawella – Kandy
After early breakfast proceed to Pinnawella to see the bottle feeding of baby elephants at 9.00 AM (only Orphanage in the World for Elephants). Thereafter visit the Royal Botanical Garden, Arts & Craft Center, Gem Museum, Kandy Market. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.
Day 6 – Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Enroute visiting Ramboda Waterfalls, Tea Plantation and Tea Factory, city tour of Nuwara Eliya. Visit the famous Royal Golf Course, Victoria Park, Gregory’s Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 7 – Horton Plains – Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast proceed to World’s End at Horton Plains. Nature walk at Horton Plains. If you go early morning you will be able to see Wild Boars and Sambas. Wild Orchids, rare species of birds and flora and fauna are found in the forest. Dinner and overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.
Day 8 – Kitulgala – Colombo
After breakfast proceed to Colombo. Enroute visiting Kitulgala. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Colombo. Clients who wish to extend their stay can always do so. We can arrange a hotels in Bentota/Beruwala, Mt. Lavinia. Clients who are not extending their stay will be transferred to airport for departure.
